POSITION 

AI/ML Engineer (Alpine Intellect)

REPORTS TO

Head of Engineering
  • Develop, implement, and optimize AI/ML algorithms for Alpine Intellect’s code generation and analytics platform.
  • Design and train machine learning models to support intelligent code assistance, real-time collaboration, and advanced engineering analytics.
  • Integrate AI-driven functionalities seamlessly into existing developer tools and workflows, especially IDE plugins and project management systems (like Jira).
  • Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers to enhance platform capabilities and ensure robust, scalable solutions.
  • Evaluate, validate, and refine AI models based on performance metrics and user feedback.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to leverage advanced AI technologies to enhance platform effectiveness and user experience.

RESPONSIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience developing and deploying machine learning models, especially in NLP and deep learning contexts.
  • Familiarity with LLMs (Large Language Models), transformer architectures, and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and experience with data manipulation libraries and tools.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle, version control (Git), and CI/CD practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Passionate about innovation in AI, code optimization, and software development productivity.
  • Experience working with distributed and global development teams.
  • Prior experience in creating IDE plugins, automated coding assistants, or related tools.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in AI/ML communities.
